Decent product. Heats up quite a lot when turned on. I have installed this inside my mini-van (it is powered by an inverter,) still there is not enough density in the fog generated even in such a small space. also the fog has this slight burnt odor. I am hoping the odor will subside in time. The unit needs a good 5 min to heat up before use. Subsequent uses are much quicker once element inside is hot. Would i recommend it? If your on a budget then yes sure, else find a slightly larger unit.
The unit has a wired remote included which makes life a lot easier. Includes almost 8ft of remote cable.

I Dj last night at a party and the smog was not enough to cover the room. I keep on pushing the green button all night long to create the smog effect but was not doing the job. I think it is to much work push the smog button every five minute and not getting enough smog. One thing it is great for is when the smog is placed near the dj lighting system you can see all the cool beams. Great for small and iny area coverage but not so good in large area coverage. I guest I will uses it until it is breaks down and then definitely get a larger smog machine.
