This is a good power supply. Does a good job 90% of the times.
Not too big, it fits more easily in your case, pedalboard, etc. Price is very decent as well.
It only does not get 5 stars because for some reason it creates noise when I connect it to Xotic BB preamp. The Pedal Power II by Voodoo Lab powers my pedals and creates no noise whatsoever. It is much more expensive, heavier and much bigger though.

Everyone has these, and they are good in a pinch. It comes with an exceptionally long cable, and then another exceptionally long chaining cable, but between those, and the 1700mA output, you should be able to power most of a standard medium sized pedal board. For that purpose, and the fact that it's so cheap ($30 to power up all your pedals, when most power adapters on their own are ~$20? That is a stellar deal), these things are great. Like I said, good in a pinch too, and I definitely don't think it's a bad idea to keep one of these around, in the event that your *real* power supply should crap out on you at an inopportune time. This also comes with a plethora of connectors, including battery clips and mini-power inputs.
There's a few reasons why this should not be your *real* power supply. For one, even if you do use only 9V pedals and this has the amperage to power all of them... these are notorious pedal-buzzers. The more effects you add on to it, the buzzier it will get. This is especially bad with anything that has an LFO, which admittedly, most 9V pedals do not... but even still, this is a noisy little device.
Secondly, this won't be able to handle anything that requires AC, and it won't be able to handle any 12V, 18V, or 24V pedals. A lot of pedals are 9V, so this covers most of your bases... but don't count on it to be a solution to all of your pedal problems without doing a little more research into what your pedals need. You can fry your pedals and the power supply if you connect your pedals to the wrong power.

Well worth the price. Takes a full power strip worth of pedal plug ins and takes only one outlet. It even has multiple adapters to fit obscure pedals or pedals without a ac outlet. Well worth the price.

An excellent power supply for pedals & pedal boards that do not have a built in power supply.
My son has mostly Behringer pedals, so when he saw the Behringer 12 pedal board & carry case with built in power
supply, he thought that would be the way to go. But if you are putting together a pedal board with out the built
in power supply, then the Visual Sound 1 Spot combo pack is way to go. with the adapters that come with it you can power probably any pedal made!

OMG! I should have bought this years ago! I have an arsenal of effects pedals and I'm always changing out a 9V battery on at least one of them. Now, with the Visual Sound 1 SPOT Combo Pack, those days are over. In my arsenal I have your regular assortment of DOD and BOSS pedals. But, I also have a couple of pedals I made myself. Granted, I put a AC adapter on them, but if I decided not to, I could use the 9V adapters included in the package to power them up. I might not put a battery compartment in my next pedal because I have the Visual Sound 1 SPOT Combo Pack now.
