I was really excited about this guitar based on the photos posted on Amazon. Unfortunately, after receiving it, I decided to return it just after inspection. You obviously get what you pay for. The guitar shows poor craftsmanship in many aspects.
The paint was cracked in several areas, especially where the neck is attached to the body.
The neck is painted in a really cheap-looking way and the frets are so rough that if you tried to bend a note the treble strings they would probably brake.
The string action is set really high, making the guitar really difficult to play and completely out of intonation. The bridge is also of terrible quality and there is no way to compensate for the string thickness to achieve a better intonation. Unfortunately there is no way to change this unless you are willing to re-build the bridge.
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this guitar to a beginner, because it would be really hard to play and it would sound terrible, making you quit really quickly. I would only recommend this guitar for decoration purpose, since it looks cool if you don't bother to look closer than a few feet away, but at that point I would suggest the acoustic model which is even cheaper.
